Salzburg is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. In addition to its historical buildings, the city boasts numerous art and architectural projects that deserve more attention. Through individually customized tours or ready-made tours, you can explore innovative construction projects, exciting galleries, and inspiring art venues in Salzburg.
Do you want to look behind the scenes and facades of the city, understand developments and connections, and discover new perspectives on the ”Rome of the North”? Monumentours takes you to selected examples of high-quality architecture and art that shape everyday life in the ”world theater” of Salzburg.
Together with Stefan Netsch, I had the honour of writing the Salzburg Architectural Guide in the renowned book series from DOM publishers. You can order the guide directly from me HERE.

Aigen – From the Mecca of the Romantics to the Sound of Modernity
The Aigen Nature Park was one of the starting points for the artistic discovery of Salzburg. The upper class felt attracted to the heavenly place and had residences and prestigious country houses built. In addition to villas and castles, there are also some key works of modern art to discover in Aigen.

ABOUT ME

Art and culture are my passion, which I like to pass on. I studied communication science and art history at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg with a focus on cultural studies, contemporary art, and architecture and worked for several years as a cultural manager at various Salzburg institutions.
After many years at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, I moved from research to art communication – more specifically, art education. The training to become an Austria Guide has opened up new perspectives on Salzburg for me.
Away from the well-visited places, the city has inspiring architecture and art sites to offer that make everyday life in Salzburg high quality and beautiful. I would be happy to show them to you.
