Salzburg short & sweet

For all those who want to get to know Salzburg’s sights in a compact overview. This tour leads through the historic city center, combined with an introduction to local specialties and authentic shops. It goes to the medieval nucleus of the city in the monastery district of St. Peter, to the town along the Salzach, to the residential city with cathedral designed by Vincenzo Scamozzi based on the Roman model, and to the festival district, ending in front of the breathtaking collegiate church of Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. Before that, at the stalls on the Grünmarkt, you can strengthen yourself with local specialities like Bosna, ”Frische” or excellent yogurt ice cream.

The tour is particularly suitable for the first visit to Salzburg and can be extended on request to include a visit to the cathedral, Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mirabell Gardens, or a gallery tour.
